As part of their billing process with FortisBC, we've created a tool that allows their accounting to automatically get paid based on Fortis' requirements. Using our custom content management system, Tuxedo, we were able to quickly interate on a custom interface. This interface allows staff to quickly perform tasks that previous took hours to perform and were prone to errors.
Business Logic Automation
Our content management system allows us to easily automate complex business logic. The billing tool involved building a new billing file using database entries, and sending the data to a private FTP server. The tool polls the FTP server for a custom status reports sent by Fortis which then informs the system of billing statuses.
