We have a couple side projects that focus on the lighter side of technology. Some of our earliest collaborations involved drinking games and using tech to mix it up, or enhance our experience. We created brewstorm.ca to accomplish these goals.
King's Cup Online Rule Generator
Our best product involved creating a random rule set for a game called "Kings Cup." Our database contains close to 200 rules making our rule generator not only the largest, but also the most interesting. BrewStorm also features three additional variants to the classic King's Cup experience.
Custom Web Application
We built BrewStorm as a custom web application. This was a deliberate choice - web is accessable, and cross-platform. We tradeoff the native app experience for the simplicity of the web. We sidestep app stores, update issues, and the details of native device development.
